If you’re a student with hearing loss attending a post-secondary institution, our live captioning service ensures you receive the same real-time information as your peers.
Every word spoken is captured instantly and displayed on your device as it’s said, whether you’re on-site or remote. You’ll also receive a full transcript to support review and study.

The industry term for our service is Communication Access Realtime Translation. The acronym is CART captioning. Currently, no alternative technology provides every word, instantly and with such accuracy.

We offer instant captions wherever you and the Internet are: in the classroom, lecture hall, after-school meeting, at home, or school-related conference, workshop, etc.

Our skilled CART providers will attend your class either in-person or online. Once the class is done, you can view the transcript in your student portal, which you will gain access to once services are booked.
Your energy should be spent learning, not struggling to catch every word. Use all the technology and strategy available, and let us capture everything your instructor and classmates say. All the other students hear what is said. You should, too
Find your school’s disability services office. Ask for verbatim (word-for-word) CART by name.
